Christ seated facing on backless throne, wearing nimbus cr., raising r. hand in benediction and holding book of Gospels. Rev. Facing stg. figures of John, on l., and the Virgin, nimbate, on r., the emperor wearing divitision and loros and holding labarum and akakia, the Virgin crowning the emperor with her r. hand. DOC 5; Hendy pl. 32, 3-5; Sear-Bendall 2073. Good very fine.
